ZeesandZors is a curated news blog for franchise industry professionals, franchisees and interested prospects.
I am an industry veteran with over 25 years experience with a well-known leading franchisor in the U.S. and overseas. My professional career has included 5 years as Director of Franchise Sales, 5 years as Director of International Operations and 4 years of expat franchise management experience at a senior level. I have a Master’s Degree in International Business, a Certificate in Franchise Management from Georgetown University, and am working on getting my CFE.
I recently retired from that leading franchisor; and my current interest is as an independent consultant focused on assisting growing franchisors with their business strategies and on developing franchising solutions to solve social issues. I am always looking for new, interesting clients and projects. Please use the Franchise Well link to learn more about us and the Contact Us form if you are interested in discussing a consulting or research engagement.
I offer this blog as a resource for busy managers and executives who want to keep up on the latest developments in franchising without having to waste time searching all over the web. It is a resource I have been wanting to see for a long time, and since that didn’t happen I decided to take the proverbial “bull-by- the-horns” and do it myself. It was also a fun way for me to get back into the technology mainstream and learn some new skills on how to use the web for the next phase of my business career.
I hope you enjoy Zeesandzors and will share your feedback and suggestions with me. This site is a constant work in progress and I expect to add new features as the site grows and I learn more about running a blog. I try schedule new posts every day, and I am always looking for new sources of quality content to share with you. Please use the Contact Us form that is on every web page or email me at: email@example.com if you have anything you’d like to share with me. I welcome any relevant content, but will refrain from posting any articles or comments that are inflammatory, accusatory or otherwise negatively provocative as judged by me. This blog is dedicated to expanding knowledge, not to axe grinding or furthering a particular personal agenda. That does not mean that I won’t post articles that offer a particular opinion. Informed opinion based on real-world experience can be very valuable knowledge to share.
Most of the content on this site consists of links to other sites, but I will occasionally contribute blog posts where I feel I can share interesting insights, knowledge and experiences from my years in the industry as well as articles and content from my subject-matter-expert friends and other professional acquaintances that I respect.
I live in Southern California, near San Diego, with my beloved wife of 20 years and my hobbies include fishing, playing music with others, golf and modular synthesizers.
Thanks for reading my blog! Please sign up, share it with your friends and come back often.
